We're thrilled to collaborate with Alicia Marie for the release of Misty the Will-O'-Wisp Familiar, coming live to Idle Champions on February 15th, 2023! The net proceeds of all Misty sales from the first week of launch will be donated to the BIPOC Support Foundation.
Misty the Will-O'-Wisp Familiar
We worked with costume designer and performing artist Alicia Marie to bring Misty the Will-O'-Wisp to Idle Champions.
Alicia is a creative artist who crafts spectacular costumes and cosplays for countless characters. There is a very good chance you have seen her work already! She can also be seen on a variety of liveplay TTRPG shows - in fact, Idle Champions players may recognize Alicia from Champions of the Realm, where she played the Dwarven Cleric Barrowin Undurr.
When creating Misty the Will-O'-Wisp Familiar, Alicia was inspired by Misty Copeland, a celebrated dancer with the prestigious American Ballet Theatre. Misty became the first African American woman to be promoted to principal dancer at the ABT, the most prominent position a dancer can receive in a ballet company.
The Misty the Will-O'-Wisp familiar will raise money for the BIPOC Support Foundation, an organization committed toempowering the lives and communities of Black, Indigenous, and Persons of Color, providing equitable resources for mentorship and economic support, and evolving educational opportunities for all individuals, regardless of class, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, or ability/disability status.
Misty the Will-O'-Wisp Familiar will be available in-game starting on Wednesday, February 15th, 2023 at 12pm Pacific! All net proceeds from the first week of Misty sales will be donated to the BIPOC Support Foundation. Idle Champions of the Forgotten Realms is available on PC and Mac on Steam, Epic, the web, Xbox One, Playstation 4, Nintendo Switch, iOS and on all Android devices!
