Sasha's Schoolhouse Scourge 6 has arrived, bringing with it Shir Brio of Cadenza.

This year's event runs until Tuesday, September 28th at 12:00 PM Pacific Time (UTC -7), introducing Shir Brio of Cadenza and bringing back Hildr, Valkyrie of PE, Karen, the Cat Teenager, Mr Boggins, the Substitute, Willy the Weregoat, The Exchange Student, Zoraeban, Demonic Angel, and Aphelion, the Distant!

New Tier 6 Crusader: Shir Brio of Cadenza

Can you feel the music? Like really feel it? No? Well, then you're definitely not like Shir Brio of Cadenza, expert in cello and actual cello too. When they play a piece, they're definitely feeling the music as it vibrates their body.

Music is all about practice, practice, practice. The more experience you have, the better, so Shir Brio is ready to help those Crusaders in formation who put in the time.

Plus, who doesn't love a good song? Even the monsters are appreciative, as they rush to meet this new artist of acclaim and pass on with a soulful melody in their ears.

Shir Brio is joining your expedition to learn new songs and styles of music, because life is music.

Shir Brio of Cadenza is a Support. When you want to add them to your formation, you can find them in slot 37.

New Tier 6 Objectives

• Recruit Shir Brio of Cadenza | Shir Brio takes up a slot in the formation. Karen, the Cat Teenager and Mr. Boggins, the Substitute take up spots in formation and can't be moved. Aside from the required Crusaders, only DPS Crusaders can be used. Note: This will require having cleared the objective To Infinity and Beyond on Ghostbeard's Greed to complete. Reach area 600.


• The Farm Upstate | Willy the Weregoat and The Exchange Student take up spots in formation and can't be moved. Only Animal crusaders can be used. Note: This will require having cleared the objective To Infinity and Beyond on Ghostbeard's Greed to complete. Reach area 650.


• Welcome to the Hellmouth | Zoraeban, Demonic Angel takes up a spot in formation and can't be moved. Only Demon, Angel or Undead tagged Crusaders can be used. Monsters with annoying abilities spawn. Note: This will require having cleared the objective To Infinity and Beyond on Ghostbeard's Greed to complete. Reach area 675.


• Just a Phase | Aphelion the Distant takes up a spot in formation and can't be moved. The formation has been changed. Aphelion is the only one who can do DPS. Note: This will require having cleared the objective Bullet Hell on Ready Player Two to complete. Reach area 700.


• Hildr's Boot Camp | Hildr the Gym Teacher takes up a spot in formation and can't be moved. Besides Hildr, only Tier 6 Crusaders can be used in the formation. Every 15 seconds, Hildr assigns a random letter grade to a random crusader, buffing or debuffing them. Grades will either increase DPS by 100% or 50%, or reduce by 25% , 50%, or 95%. Note: This will require having cleared the objective Bullet Hell on Ready Player Two to complete. Reach area 725.

Sasha's Schoolhouse Scourge 5 introduces Hildr, Valkyrie of PE and brings back Aphelion, the Distant and brings back Karen, the Cat Teenager, Mr Boggins, the Substitute, Willy the Weregoat, The Exchange Student, Zoraeban, Demonic Angel, and Aphelion, the Distant. The adventure ends on Tuesday, September 15th, 2020 at 12:00PM Pacific!

New Tier 5 Crusader: Hildr, Valkyrie of PE

"Drop and give me 20!"

Don't let the gruff demeanor and high expectations of this Valkyrie keep you away — Hildr is actually quite sweet and there for everyone! Everyone's Welcome and The Good Sugar Water increase Global DPS per adjacent Evil and Good Crusaders respectively! Resistance Training increases DPS for every 25 levels over 200 by 4 times! She's stacked so this stacks! Her Mead Powered increases the non-formation abilities of all adjacent Crusaders, and Song of Death increases the Gold find for each Undead, Angel or Demon tag in the formation, and The Shieldmatron's Handbook for increase the effects of level 50 and level 100 upgrades.

It's not Gym Class without sweaty equipment. Her Whistle increases Song of Death, Nectar of the Gods increases Mead Powered and protective equipment is always important, her Breastplate buffs The Shieldmatron's Handbook.

New Tier 5 Objectives

• Recruit Hildr, Valkyrie of PE | Hildr, takes up a slot in the formation. Only Schoolhouse Scourge Crusaders Crusaders may be used.
  Reach area 400.


• Prep Rally | Cheerleader and DJ occupy slots in formation. Every 30 seconds, they cheer and bop, boosting the adjacent Crusaders by -20% to 200% DPS.
  Reach area 450.


• Cooking Class | The Pot of Neverending Soup occupies a slot in the formation.Food monsters randomly spawn, and for every 50 food monsters killed, the Soup buffs your Gold find by 10% additively. Gold Find Crusaders can’t be used.
  Reach area 475.


• Photography Class | Camera monsters spawn randomly, freezing your DPS while they're alive.
  Reach area 500.


• Basket Weaving 101 |DPS and Gold find bonuses from Idols are disabled.
  Reach area 525.

Each non-recruitment objective will drop a chest for its given tier of Crusaders, and free play will drop All Tier chests. Gear for Tier 2, Tier 3, Tier 4 and Tier 5 Crusaders will only appear in All Tier chests once you've unlocked the respective Crusaders. You can select the tier of chest you buy in the shop when you go to purchase chests with real money or event currency.

This year it's time to get edgy. You thought we were being edgy last year with our brooding Crusader? Well this new pixie gives no fluffs! Their name is Aphelion, the Distant, and they are definitely too cool for school...

Sasha's Schoolhouse Scourge 4 introduces Aphelion, the Distant and brings back Karen, the Cat Teenager, Mr Boggins, the Substitute, Willy the Weregoat, The Exchange Student, and Zoraeban, Demonic Angel. The adventure ends on Tuesday, September 24th, 2019 at 12:00PM Pacific!

New Tier 4 Crusader: Aphelion, the Distant

"You couldn’t handle my true dark side..."

Don't let the size of this moon pixie fool you — Aphelion is a formidable Support/DPS Crusader. Their Waxing Gibbous increases the DPS of Crusaders at the top and bottom of the formation, and Twilight increases the effect of Waxing Gibbous for each Evil Crusader in the formation.

When it comes to self-DPS buffs, Synchronous Rotation increases Aphelion's DPS for each Crusader affected by Waxing Gibbous, and it gets even better once you unlock Waning Crescent to improve the buff for each Flora Crusader. Jade Rabbit is a straight self-DPS buff, and Lunar Mare increases Aphelion's DPS by the square of all owned Epic or Legendary items(!).

Crusaders Return

If you haven't collected them already, you can unlock previous Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 Crusaders by completing their respective objectives. Karen, the Cat Teenager, Mr Boggins, the Substitute, Willy the Weregoat, The Exchange Student, and Zoraeban, Demonic Angel are all once again available to unlock!

New Tier 4 Objectives

• Recruit Aphelion, the Distant | Aphelion takes up a slot in the formation. Only Evil Crusaders may be used. If Aphelion dies, the formation wipes.
  Reach area 600.


• Jock Shock | Only Crusaders whose names begin with 'J', 'O', 'C', or 'K' may be used. Burly fellows attach the formation.
  Reach area 700.


• After School Club | Four representatives from a variety of after school clubs take up spots in the formation. Did we mention they each have annoying debuffs? They're the worst.
  Reach area 750.


• High School Recap | From Area 1 to 200 you can only use Tier 1 event Crusaders. From Area 201 to 400 you can only use Tier 2 event Crusaders. From Area 401 to 600 you can only use Tier 3 event Crusaders. From Area 601 to 800 you can only use Tier 4 event Crusaders.
  Reach area 800.
  Note: Starting at Area 801 you cannot use any Crusaders!


• Supernatural Activities | Only Supernatural Crusaders may be used.
  Reach area 850.

Going back to school is already rough enough, with all the homework and classes, but throw some demons into the mix and things start to get really complicated!

Sasha's Schoolhouse Scourge 3 runs until Tuesday, September 25th at 12:00pm PDT, and introduces Zoraeban, Demonic Angel!

New Tier 3 Crusader: Zoraeban, Demonic Angel

He's part angel, part demon, and all brooding 90s: Zoraeban, Demonic Angel is here to do damage and chew gum - and he's all outta gum. Something of a loner, Zoraeben boasts a leather jacket and an ear stud, and he excels in the corners of the formation.

Crusaders Return

If you haven't collected them already, you can unlock previous Tier One and Two Crusaders by completing their respective Tier One and Two Objectives. Karen, the Cat Teenager, Mr Boggins, the Substitute, Willy the Weregoat, and The Exchange Student will be available to unlock while Sasha's Schoolhouse Scourge 3 is live!

Five New Tier 3 Objectives!

• Recruit Zoraeban, Demonic Angel | Zoraeban is right the middle of the formation. Each Crusader adjacent to Zoraeban reduces global DPS by 25% (additive). Reach area 500.


• Band Practice | Three band members take up slots in the formation, causing various debuffs. These effects change over time or with monsters killed. Reach area 600.


• Rivalry | Your FIERCEST RIVAL, Delila, spawns randomly. While spawned, Delila reduces all gold found to 0 and speeds up monsters on screen. There can be only one Delila at a time.


• Take Wing | Only winged Crusaders can be used. Reach area 700.


• Math Class | Only Crusaders in prime slots may be used (2, 3, 5, 7, 11, 13, 17, 19, 23). Reach area 750.

We gotta go back, back, back to school again! But it's no high school musical. It's time for classes, homework and demons as we play through the Sasha's Schoolhouse Scourge event, 2017 edition!

The teachers and students have fallen victim to possession once again, and it's up to you and your intrepid Crusaders to save the day. If you haven't recruited them yet, now is you chance to add Karen and Mr. Boggins to your roster!

Two new Tier 2 Crusaders, Willy the Weregoat and The Exchange Student will be available to recruit after you've completed all the Tier 1 objectives (you may need to wait for enough event currency to do that) and if you have the talent "Doing it Again" purchased.

The first new Crusader is Willy the Weregoat, who stamps his hooves into place as he swaps with the Princess. Don't let him near any paperwork, unless you don't want it anymore. He really likes the taste. But he'll play nice and buff your Crusaders!



New Crusader: Willy the Weregoat


At level 50, Willy the Weregoat unlocks Reciprocation, which buffs adjacent Crusaders DPS by 10% per formation ability affecting Willy. The bonus is additive.

At level 400, Willy unlocks Play Nicest, which buffs Reciprocation by 100%, which means you get a 20% bonus per buff.

The second new Tier 2 Crusader is The Exchange Student. As a new student, she's easy to free from the demonic influence and join your adventures, swapping with Thalia the Thunder King. She's shy but confident, which makes for an interesting combination.



New Crusader: The Exchange Student


Once recruited, The Exchange Student unlocks Lightning Drake at level 50, which allows you to use Storm Rider.

At level 150, The Exchange Student gets the upgrade Class President, which buffs the DPS of the Crusaders in the column behind her by 50% of your current Storm Rider buff.

Once you've recruited both Willy and The Exchange Student, there are three new side objectives to tackle in your quest.



New Objective: Class Garden

In Class Garden, Arnie has forgotten to water the cacti and now the dehydrated plants want revenge. For every 10 you kill, a raging cactus will spawn to avenge his fallen comrades, and you'll have to fight them off until you beat area 400.



New Objective: Class Pets

In Class Pets, you need to escort the class hamster, turtle and snake to area 450, while they take up spots in your formation and change positions every 50 areas.



New Objective: Class Dismissed

In Class Dismissed, school is out and so are your Crusaders. Every 50 areas an entire bench slot gets dismissed and is no longer available to use, as you head to area 500 in this objective.

Equipment for all the Crusaders can be found in Silver and Jeweled Educational chests, but tier 2 Crusaders gear will only be unlocked once you've recruited them.

You'll have until September 26th at Noon PDT to complete the event.

Scream if you're ready to rock! The zombie teachers have become more than a little annoying. It's time for the battle of the bands to aurally assault the monsters in our Schoolhouse Rock celebration.

This weekend we're buffing the five most musical Crusaders from today until Monday, September 12 at Noon PDT.

The Bush Whacker, Detective Kaine, Gold Panda, King Reginald and The Metal Soldierette love rock so much, they're pumped up!

• The Bush Whacker - Critical Hit Chance +4%
• Detective Kaine - A-Hah! Ability +200%
• Gold Panda - Gold Find +100%
• King Reginald - All DPS +100%
• The Metal Soldierette - Cool Under Pressure Ability +200%

Also, check out the limited-time Rockin' Jeweled Chests that contain equipment for the five Crusaders above! (Please note: The chest will only contain gear for The Metal Soldierette if you've unlocked her.)

Bummer. It's back to school season. After a long summer of doing anything and everything but schoolwork, it's time to get back to it and think about textbooks, homework and getting up on time for classes.

Of course, in the Crusaders' world, nothing is ever that simple. As Sasha steps back onto the school premises it's obvious something is up! The teachers are acting strangely. No chalk flicking, no detentions, and no attempts to intercept notes being passed around by students. The teachers must be possessed! Time to kick some demonic teacher ass and get this place back to it's usual dreary, soul-sucking normality.

New Crusaders: Karen, the Teenage Cat.
As is always the case with a new school year, there are new arrivals. Karen, the Cat Teenager is a restless character who changes position every ten levels for the first objective.

Once convinced you're cool, she'll use her surly teenage cat powers for good. At level 50, Karen can access a unique ability: Center of the Universe. Now all positive formation abilities that don't reach Karen apply to her at 50% of their effectiveness. At level 100, Karen contributes 1% of her DPS to click damage. At level 150 Karen can use her Nine Lives ability. If she is killed she'll instantly revive at max health but do 10% less damage (stacking). As the name suggests, she's able to use this ability eight times and it is refreshed by changing areas.

New Crusaders: Mr. Boggins, the Substitute.
The second new Crusader is poor old Mr. Boggins, the Substitute teacher. As if dealing with raucous classrooms full of kids wasn't bad enough, being the sub is one ring further down in hell.

You'll need to liberate him in the second objective which includes an exciting new challenge for the Crusaders. Every 15 seconds, Mr. Boggins will assign a random letter grade to the Crusaders with both positive and negative effects. The grades range from 'A+' which will increase the affected Crusader DPS by +100%, right down to 'F' which will wipe off 95% of the Crusader's DPS. The effect will last for 30 seconds at a time.

Mr. Boggins hands out random grades, both good and bad.
Once added to your roster, Mr. Boggins has some useful tricks up his sleeve. At level 50, he bonds with the newcomers in the class. His ability The New Students increases the DPS all the animal Crusaders by 200% and is further increased by 12.5% (additive) for each Human Crusader in the formation. At level 100, his ability Diversity Day increases the Gold Find by 10% for each non-human and non-animal Crusader in your formation (also additive).

The remaining three objectives include Nodding Off where a boring lecturer takes up a slot in the formation and reduces your DPS by 3% every second to a maximum of 99%. Clicking or changing areas (including auto-progress) resets the reduction to 0%. In Homework Time, monsters spawn randomly and bog down a particular Crusader with homework that reduces their DPS to zero until the homework is destroyed. The effect lasts for a further 10 seconds after that.

New Objective: Homework Time reduced Crusaders to zero DPS.
In the final new objective Private School the Crusaders must escort three stuck-up private school kids to area 250. Private school isn't cheap so they reduce your gold bonus to 0% until you can offload them at their exclusive place of learning.

The Sasha's Schoolhouse Scourge event will run until September 13th at Noon PDT.
