Mythical Mount Management

The Bush Whacker community is needed once again! Three ill-equipped stable-hands have been tasked with the care of 3 mythical beasts! They're in over their heads and need the help of not one but all Bush Whackers!

Mounts Needing Tending

Back for the second time ever since their debut in May 2018, these three new trainers are responsible for the following mythical mounts:

• Alicanto
• Cockatrice
• Wampus Cat

These magnificent beasts are very high maintenance! Use your bush whacking skills to find items catering to each mythical creature:

• Tasty Nuggest for the Alicanto
• Shiny Bells for the Cockatrice
• Yarn Balls for the Wampus Cat

Each creature needs an enormous quantity of these items, but worry not; The whole community will be finding items alongside you.

Before Time Is Up!

The Bush Whacker 2 community as a whole only has 3 days to satisfy these needy beasts! See the trainers on Amicus Isle before noon on Monday July 28th to make your contributions to this limited-time community quest!

Assuming you're all successful, you can pick up your reward from them any time before Wednesday July 30th at noon.

Summer Carnival Event Update (July 11th, 2025)

- Updated Summer Carnival Event
- Added new customization and ranch items

Nate's Rock Request! (July 9th, 2025)

- Added a new Nate adventure in the Flooded Mines! Requires that you have completed the Nate's Prismatic Pursuit and field 3 of the Submerged Grotto to start.

- Fixed the Soil Pile Mini Golf Piece showing in the General tab in your inventory

- Fixed puzzle images for field 4 of the Welling Adit

- Added the Tapped Maple Tree to the ranch store after you've unlocked it

- Fixed dynamic bushes (in secret areas, adventures, and flux) not going up to 53 cost at level 520

- Fixed typos in the Commons fisherman missing fishing items text, Skis for Sabrina quest description, Tick Removal Kits, and Cabana Carl's Dooty quest on Amicus Isle (thanks jacketofdiamonds!)

- Fixed the tartan rug by the door in Natalie's House sometimes sorting over the player on the top edge (thanks jacketofdiamonds!)

- Fixed the last 6 basic horses not counting towards the horse taming achievements (may need to tame a new one for the achievement to claim) (thanks jacketofdiamonds!)

- Adjusted the dialog of the 5 tourists in Kaine's snowy mountain mystery so they don't talk about the end prematurely (thanks jacketofdiamonds!)

- Fixed being able to move during cutscene in Avalanche Runout where you escape with the Princess (thanks jacketofdiamonds!)

- Fixed a rare case where you could buy a friend a gift that they already have

- Fixed the Boulder mount not having a ranch graphic

- Added a "what items am I missing for the achievement?" chat option to the Halflight Haven store NPC

Second BIFA Soccer Tournament (July 31st, 2024)

- Limited time community quest with unique rewards (July 31st - August 7th):
- Join a soccer team, kick balls in daily matches (quests), and earn Participation Medals
- 7 Matches in total! Teams compete for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.
- Medals can be spent at special store for a few unique items.
- Added 6 new store items to redeem for Participation Medals (team gnomes and team headbands)
- Added ball count and match complete count personal metrics to team quest in quest bar
- Added chat option to look back on the results of previous matches
- Rebalanced rewards and store costs

Sensational Slots & More Items! (July 26th, 2024)

- Fixed the game breaking/freezing if you open the achievements panel and view a category, close it, and open the achievements panel again

- Limited time Shark Week related quest line, available via visiting NPC on Amicus Isle (July 24-28)

- Re-running Sensational Slots limited time slot machine related quest line rewarding bonus Prize Tokens (July 26-29)

- Made the prize token popup when you win them on a slot machine prettier

- Added the Holiday Duck Pond to the Holiday Enthusiast's store

- Added new Carousel Top and Carousel Bottom ranch items to the Holiday Enthusiast's store and all the event prior year stores. Note: Due to collision implementation, you'll need to place the bottom first, then the top over it, and then place the carousel critters between them.

- Abbreviated max descriptions for Large and Small Energy Packs so they appear correctly on the "Uh Oh! Low Energy!" pop-up

- Noted year released on pandaclaw transmogrification store item descriptions for the Summer Carnival event

- Renamed first Dog Collar costume item to Spiked Dog Collar

- Store Updates:

Nate's Prismatic Pursuit! (July 31st, 2023)

- Added a new Nate adventure in the Prismatic Passage! Requires that you have completed the Nate's Salt Desert Dessert and the Bewitched Wood to start.

- New puzzle/mini-game system added to the game, as part of Nate's adventure in the Prismatic Passage: Mine Sweeper!

- Renamed the Gen 14 Bald Eagle pet to "Eagle", to differentiate it from the Patriot event Bald Eagle pet

- Potentially fixed Sudoku grid pieces occasionally glitching

- The Spring Thicket SBA #59 will now overwrite your return button when you visit after completing the field, since Derringer's quest there can only be done in the field in that area

- Gen 15 pet eggs in the PAGAS store no longer require you to have hatched 5 gen 15 pets

Misc Update (July 22nd, 2022)

- Premium ranch slot machine rewards now scale with level

- Corrected the release value of the Glitch Propellant Pack and Somberwald from 100 to 10 Mount Bucks (the standard misc type value)

- Added [!!!] icons above dog quest spawns for Bundle of Barkleys quest

- Made the Lake Island requirement for the Jungle and Beach ranch styles explicit on their store-item tooltips, and they will no longer be hidden if you don't meet this requirement.

- Updated the item descriptions for the Gobbledy Glitch and Fluxed Data Core trophies to direct you to the Flungeon Terminus instead of the Flungeon Fountain Depth

- Added maximum daily trophy turn-in amount and new trophy you can only find while at the maximum

- Reduced chances of finding Nothing in a gift or satchel when it should have been a trophy item
