COTLI: Amusement Park of Doom Tier 4 Objectives

It's hard to believe that this campaign went live back in December 2016 but here we are 2.5 years later and we're still going strong — so strong, in fact, that we've added some brand-new Tier 4 Objectives to the Amusement Park of Doom campaign!

Good luck <3

Amusement Park of Doom Tier 4 Objectives

  • Roller Coaster - A camera monster spawns to take your picture to commemorate the moment. While the camera is alive, the DPS doesn't change. Reach Area 900.

  • Carousel - The highest two available bench slots (wrapping around) disable the dps and abilities of adjacent Crusaders. Reach Area 900.

  • Log Ride - DPS takes longer to recover, but Tank Crusaders recover theirs instantly. Invincible towel monsters spawn at random. Reach Area 950.

  • Ferris Wheel of Doom - Each rotation a random rotated slot doesn’t have its DPS and FAs disabled and a random non-rotated slot is turned into a tentacle, disabling their DPS and FAs. Reach Area 1000.

  • The House of Horrors - A powerful zombie monster spawns after each blackout. Reach Area 1000.

  • Mauled By Mascots - Two mascots occupy spaces in formation. If they die, all the mascot monsters on screen die. Reach Area 1050.

  • Couples Day - Only the Crusaders on the top row of the bench can be used. Reach Area 1100.

New Objectives & Weekend Buff

We have a special surprise for you this week in the form of four brand new permanent objectives in the Amusement Park of Doom campaign. Plus, we have our weekly weekend buff.

The first of the four new objectives is Log Ride. Players can start the objective after completing You Must be THIS Tall and already have 30,000 idols banked. Every 10 seconds one of your Crusaders gets drenched by water, decreasing their DPS to 0 and disabling their formation abilities for 15 seconds. Players must reach area 650 to beat the objective.

Log Ride

Mauled By Mascots sees the intrepid Crusaders attacked by well-known, beloved characters, including Marty Mouse and Daryl Duck. It wouldn't be right to kill them so you must just fend off the invulnerable mascots until you can advance to the next area all the way to area 750.

Mauled By Mascots

Couples Day requires you to always have an equal number of male and female Crusaders on the field. However, we do give you some leeway to add one male or female Crusader as you unlock them (otherwise you couldn't add any Crusaders). To complete the objective, you must beat area 800.

Couples Day

The final new objective is It's Over Nine... Hundred? where you have to (you guessed it!) beat area 900.

It's Over Nine... Hundred?

We're also launching the new weekend buff, Amusing Objectives of Doom. The Bushwhacker, Veronica, the Android Archer, Gold Panda, Fire Phoenix, and Exterminator all get a boost for the weekend until 12 pm PDT on Monday, May 15th.

  • Bushwhacker - Critical Click Chance +6%
  • Veronica, the Android Archer - Precise Aim ability +200%
  • Gold Panda - All Gold Find +200%
  • Fire Phoenix - All DPS +200%
  • Exterminator - Spare Parts, and Slaved Systems +200%

Also, check out the limited-time Amusing Jeweled Chests that contain equipment for the five Crusaders above!

(Please note: The chest will only contain gear for Veronica and Exterminator if you've unlocked them. You will get Golden Epic for the Exterminator with your chest purchase and it will show up equipped on him, once you unlock him!)

Amusement Park of Doom

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

Today we launch the Amusement Park of Doom, a brand new permanent campaign. It's a special campaign because it features some boss monsters that were created as a result of your very generous donations for our Extra Life event back in October. Our artists Kat and Adam have been beavering away to create the requests, and you'll find more details on them below.

The Amusement Park of Doom itself is a theme park from a parallel dimension. Our bold Crusaders must explore this terror split over six objectives to start. To tackle the park, the team will need to be at their pushiest to get through the throngs of visitors to avoid the long queues for the rides.

For the new campaign, these debut objectives will put you through your paces.

Park Pass

Park Pass requires you to reach area 400 but you need at least 10,000 Idols to qualify to start the objective. Completing it unlocks the Free Play.

Roller Coaster

Roller Coaster will debuff and superbuff your Crusaders' DPS randomly all the way to area 500.

Carousel

Carousel limits you to six available Crusader seats at a time. As you progress through the 500 areas, the Crusaders available will rotate along the bench, just like a carousel.

You Must Be THIS Tall

You Must Be This Tall requires the Crusaders to get to area 600. Beating this objective allows you to access the next two.

Ferris Wheel of Doom

The Ferris Wheel of Doom takes up the empty space in the formation. Crusaders in the spaces surrounding it will ride the wheel all the way to area 700.

The House of Horrors

The House of Horrors tests your Crusaders' heart, with the play area randomly going black and reducing DPS and Click Damage to 0, and a spooky surprise being revealed when the lights come back on.

On their mission to cram as much fun as possible into their trip, they are also seeking out the legendary mascot, Sagaven. Along the way, you'll come across the monsters created for the Extra Life event. Check out the creations below.

"Tasselfoot"

Requested by Tass.

"LARP Elf"

Requested by Paul McGrath.

"Chris"

Requested by Chris Bobridge.

"Mr. Flappy"

Requested by Dominic Leo.

"Nils Olav"

Requested by Vingummi.

"Fluffy"

Requested by Amanda Kolecke.

"Welsh Dragon"

Requested by Mrs. Crane.

Princess, Khouri, Nate, Mindy, and Pete will all get a limited time buff applied automatically this weekend.

  • The Princess - Ignite, Char, Conflagrate, and Incinerate ability +200%
  • Khouri, the Witch Doctor - Koffee Potion ability +200%
  • Nate Dragon - All DPS +100%
  • Mindy the Mime - All Gold Find +100%
  • Pete the Carney - Bad Joke ability +200%

Also, check out the limited-time Clown Jeweled Chests that contain equipment for the five Crusaders above! (Please note: The chest will only contain gear for Mindy the Mime or Pete the Carny if you've unlocked them from the events or missions.)

Note: The Golden Epic available with this weekend buff is for an event crusader. If you do not have Pete the Carney unlocked you will still earn the GE, and once you unlock Pete through a mission or next year's event it will already be equipped.
