Champion Update: Farideh  
Posted in Idle Champions.

    Abandoned as an infant and adopted by an outcast dragonborn warrior, Farideh grew up to adulthood acutely aware of the drawbacks of being a tiefling. While those from the Nine Hells do their utmost to corrupt her, Farideh isn't interested in power so much as defending the world from demons, the undead, and any other villains trying to bring trouble or drag her friends and family into danger.
Farideh has received a devilish update. Her Hellish Rebuke ability now triggers when any Champion in the formation receives damage, while Chosen of Asmodeus has been reworked entirely. Learn all about the changes below...

Abilities

Basic Attack

  • Scorching Ray (magic) - Farideh creates 3 rays of fire and hurls them at random enemies.

Formation Abilities

  • Hellish Rebuke - Enemies that attack any Champion in the formation trigger Farideh's Hellish Rebuke. The enemy is surrounded by green flames for 5 seconds and immediately takes 0.5 seconds worth of BUD damage.
  • Chosen of Asmodeus - Whenever Farideh's Hellish Rebuke triggers, Farideh's damage is increased by 100%. This stacks multiplicatively up to 25 times, and the stacks reset when changing areas.
  • Pact Family - Farideh's damage is increased by 100% for each Tiefling Champion in the formation, stacking multiplicatively.
  • Sister, Sister - Increases the post-stack effect of Pact Family by 500% when Havilar is in the formation. Additionally, whenever Havilar sacrifices her Imps, the stack cap of Chosen of Asmodeus is increased by 2, stacking up to 5 times (10 additional stacks total).

Specializations

  • Daughters of Mehen - Pact Family now also gains a stack for each Dragonborn Champion in the formation, and its post-stack effect is increased by 400%. Chosen of Asmodeus stacks are halved when changing areas if Mehen is in the formation, rather than resetting to 0.
  • Fury of Asmodeus - Farideh gains the Debuff role, and whenever Chosen of Asmodeus is at more than 10 stacks, Farideh deals 100% more damage against enemies currently affected by Hellish Rebuke for each stack above 10 she has, stacking multiplicatively.
  • Pact with Lorcan - Farideh gains the Hunter role, Fiends become her favored foe, and the effect of Hellish Rebuke is increased by 200% on all Fiends. By sheer dumb luck, each wave of enemies in non-boss areas has a 33% chance to spawn 1-2 Fiends, and all bosses now count as demonic Fiends for the purposes of all abilities that care about such things.

Ultimate Attack

  • Infernal Aspect (magic) - Farideh taps into her infernal bloodline, surrounding herself in a nimbus of flames and sprouting a pair of fiery wings from her back for 15 seconds. This causes all enemies to go berserk, resulting in them moving 50% faster, attacking twice as often, but dealing 90% less damage. During this time, her flaming aura shoots slivers of flame at random enemies once per second, dealing massive damage.

New Champion: King of Shadows

    Once the noble guardian of the ancient elven empire of Illefarn, a cataclysmic event twisted this protector, binding him to the corrupting influence of the Shadow Weave. Now, as the King of Shadows, he commands legions of spectral Shadow Reavers and wields potent shadow magic. Driven by a warped sense of purpose tied to Illefarn's downfall and the dangerous power of the Shadow Weave, he seeks to engulf Neverwinter and beyond in an eternal night. His very being embodies the perversion of ancient power and the terrifying potential of unchecked darkness, making him a uniquely formidable and tragic antagonist.
The King of Shadows is a Support, Tanking, and DPS Champion that goes through three phases, with the advancement to the next phase happening when he is defeated. The power of his Tanking and DPS abilities increases the longer you can delay his advancement to the next phase. His Shadow Plague ability further augments his Tanking abilities, but actively drains health from Champions next to him in formation!

Abilities

Basic Attack

  • Shadow Strike (melee/magic) - The King of Shadows slashes the closest enemies, then blasts the enemy with the most health.

Passive Abilities

  • Corrupted Guardian - The King of Shadows is Undead and counts as 'dead' for the purposes of effects that care about dead Champions, but 'alive' for all other purposes.
  • Phase One: The Watcher - When you complete an area with the King of Shadows leading the formation from the front, he updates his current Toughness and Brutality stacks to the completed area number. When the King of Shadows is defeated for the first time, he immediately returns to full health, his Toughness stacks no longer update, and he enters Phase Two. When the King of Shadows is defeated for the second time, he immediately returns to full health, his Brutality stacks no longer update, and he enters Phase Three. His size increases by 25% each time he enters a new phase. Other abilities grant additional buffs upon gaining these new phases.

Formation Abilities

  • Power of the King - The King of Shadows increases the damage of himself and Champions in the two columns behind him by 100%. This is increased by 100% each time the King of Shadows' max health is doubled, stacking multiplicatively.
  • Shadow Plague - The King of Shadows damages all adjacent Champions for 4% of their max health each second, as long as the Champions have at least 20% of their max health remaining. Each time The King of Shadows successfully deals damage in this manner, he gains a Shadow Plague stack. Each Shadow Plague stack increases his own max health by 4%, stacking additively. Stacks cap at 250 and reset when changing areas.
  • Phase Two: The Warden - After the King of Shadows enters Phase Two, his health is increased by 1% for each Toughness stack he collected, stacking additively. He also increases the health of all other Champions by 25% of his max health, and healing effects on all Champions are increased by 25%.
  • Shadow Reavers - After the King of Shadows enters Phase Two, he summons a Shadow Reaver each time he uses his ultimate. An additional Shadow Reaver is summoned for every 500 Toughness stacks he has. Each Shadow Reaver attacks a random enemy once every 5 seconds, dealing 5 seconds of BUD-based damage. The Shadow Reavers last for 1 second plus 0.1 seconds for each Toughness stack he has. Using his ultimate again before the Shadow Reavers expire causes their duration to be refreshed to max.
  • Phase Three: The Warrior - After the King of Shadows enters Phase Three, his damage is increased by 5% for each Brutality stack, stacking multiplicatively.

  • Master of Pawns - Increases the effect of Power of the King by 100%.
  • Shadow Unleashed - Increases the effect of Phase Three: The Warrior by 1000%.

Specializations B

  • Legacy of Illefarn - Increases the effect of Power of the King by 100% for each Elf, Dwarf, Half-Elf, and/or Human Champion in the formation, stacking multiplicatively.
  • Embrace the Shadow Weave - Increases the effect of Power of the King by 200% for each Evil Champion in the formation, stacking multiplicatively.
  • Rites of Survival - Increases the effect of Power of the King by 300% for each Champion with the Healing role, stacking multiplicatively. Additionally, Shadow Plague no longer has a minimum health at which Champions will not be damaged, and the Shadow Plague stack cap is doubled.

Ultimate Attack

  • Cradle of Rime (magic) - The King of Shadows blasts all enemies with cold and necrotic energies, slowing their movement for a short while.

    Alyndra Alexandria Garanahil Sarrbarand is known by many names: Lorekeeper of Rime Spiro, Kinscribe of Clan Monkeymouse, Daughter of Oblivion, Fate Changer, Knight of Wonder and Captivation...and apologetic offspring of Avren & Sofieus.
Alyndra originally launched on March 11, 2021, as part of Festival of Fools 4. Now, she is the first Champion to receive a rework in a Year 9 Event, with a change to how her Portent works, a new passive ability, I See Some Friends, and a new support ability, Circle of Divination. Basic Attack

  • Mind Spike (magic) - Alyndra reaches into the mind of a random enemy, dealing damage and slowing the enemy by 50% for 3 seconds.

Passive Abilities

  • I See Some Friends - When Alyndra is in the formation, all Champions from the Heroes of the Planes affiliation may be used, even if a Patron, Variant, or other restriction would say otherwise.

Formation Abilities

  • Circle of Divination - Alyndra increases the damage of adjacent Champions by 100%.
  • I Have Foreseen This - For each Champion in the formation affected by Portent, Alyndra's Circle of Divination is increased by 100%, stacking multiplicatively.
  • Brows of Judgement - Griff, Alyndra's owl companion, sits on Alyndra's shoulder and judges enemies as they spawn. They have a 25% chance to judge normal enemies as unworthy, and a 100% chance to judge bosses as unworthy. For each unworthy normal enemy that spawns, Circle of Divination is increased by 20%, stacking multiplicatively. If a boss has spawned in the current area, Circle of Divination is increased by an additional 1000%. Griff can judge up to 100 normal enemies per area, and the stacks reset when changing areas.

Specializations

  • Expansive Vision - Portent now applies to the next 3 Champions to use their ultimate abilities instead of 2, and the effect is increased by 100%.
  • Extra Judgy - Doubles Griff's chance to judge enemies as unworthy with Brows of Judgement, increases the buff by 100%, and when changing areas, half of the stacks persist.
  • Heroes of the Planes - If Portent is applied to a Champion under the effect of certain Heroes of the Planes Champions' abilities, those effects are increased in power.

Ultimate Ability

  • Portent - Alyndra glances into the future. The next two unique Champions to use their ultimate abilities gain the Portent buff for 40 seconds, which increases their base damage by 1000% and reduces their base attack cooldown by 0.5 sec. If an affected Champion uses their ultimate ability again before the Portent buff expires, their Portent buff duration is refreshed.

New Champion: Cazrin

    Cazrin is the ray of sunshine in the party, the eternal optimist, the friendly ear or the shoulder to cry on. She is passionate about magic, knowledge, and learning, always experimenting or testing new theories. Growing up, Cazrin’s family feared and forbade the study of magic because of an ancestress who misused her power, so Cazrin was forced to teach herself and eventually leave her family behind to pursue her dreams. Intelligent but inexperienced, she has embraced a life of adventuring to gather the thrills and experiences that as a child she could only read about in books.
Cazrin is a Support and DPS Champion that collects books as she adventures with the Fallbacks' faithful companion, Uggie. Her Sunny Disposition increases the damage of Champions in her column and the columns in front of her, and she's always ready to protect herself with Mage Armor.

Basic Attack

  • Magic Missile (magic) - Cazrin fires 2 magic missiles at random enemies, preferring different targets if possible

Passive Abilities

  • Uggie! - Uggie joins the party, starting next to Cazrin unless she's already in the formation next to another Fallbacks Champion. Uggie increases the damage of all non-adjacent Champions by 100%.

Formation Abilities

  • Library of Lore - Whenever a boss is defeated for the first time in an adventure, it drops a Book that Cazrin collects. Subsequent kills of the same boss have a 10% chance of dropping an additional Book. The maximum number of Books that can be collected during a single adventure is the highest area reached divided by 5, rounded down. Cazrin keeps track of both the number of Books she has collected in the current adventure, as well as the size of her Library, which is the number of Books she has collected across all adventures. Cazrin's damage is increased by 10% for each book in her Library, stacking additively. Each time her Library reaches a new order of magnitude, the base buff is multiplicatively increased by 100%.
  • Sunny Disposition - Cazrin increases the damage of all Champions in her column (including herself) and the columns in front of her by 100%.
  • Unctuous Uggie - Uggie's buff is increased by 400% when Cazrin is in the formation.
  • Mage Armor - The first time anyone in the formation takes damage in each area, Cazrin casts Mage Armor on herself. Champions affected by Mage Armor decrease the damage they take by 25%.
  • In Search of Knowledge - Cazrin's attacks and abilities gain additional effects based on the number of Books that she has collected in the current adventure.
    • 10+ Books: Cazrin fires an additional Magic Missile with her base attack.
    • 40+ Books: Increase the effect of Sunny Disposition by 5% for each Book she has collected in the current adventure, stacking multiplicatively.
    • 80+ Books: Cazrin fires an additional Magic Missile with her base attack.
    • 120+ Books: When triggered, Mage Armor is now cast on all Champions in the formation instead of just Cazrin.
    • 160+ Books: Increase the effect of Unctuous Uggie by 1% for each Book Cazrin has collected in the current adventure, stacking additively.
    • 200+ Books: Support Champions affected by Mage Armor have a 40% chance to deal an additional 5 seconds of BUD damage with each normal attack hit.
    • 240+ Books: Mage Armor's damage prevention is increased to 50%.
    • 300+ Books: For each Tanking Champion affected by Mage Armor, the effect of Sunny Disposition is increased by 400%, stacking multiplicatively.

Specializations A

  • Self Taught - Cazrin increases the damage bonus of Sunny Disposition by 100% for each Fallbacks Champion and/or Champions with a Melee and/or Ranged base attack in the formation, stacking multiplicatively.
  • Ancestor's Shadow - Cazrin increases the damage bonus of Sunny Disposition by 100% for each Fallbacks Champion and/or Good Champion in the formation, stacking multiplicatively.
  • Lost in the Library - Whenever a boss drops a Book, Cazrin collects 3 Books. The maximum number of Books she can collect during this adventure is tripled, but In Search of Knowledge's per Book damage boost to Sunny Disposition is reduced from 5% to 1.65%.

Specializations B

  • Signature Smell - When Uggie is with Cazrin, each damage increase that Uggie! would normally apply to other members of the formation instead applies to Cazrin herself, stacking multiplicatively.
  • Smell Mastery - When Uggie is with Cazrin, In Search of Knowledge's per-Book bonus for Sunny Disposition is increased by 100%.

Ultimate Ability

  • Fallback Fireball (magic) - Cazrin attacks all enemies with her version of a fireball.

Champion Update: Lazaapz

    Born in The Cogs beneath Sharn's Lower City, Lazaapz's remarkable intellect elevated her to the Tradefair district, where her mechanical genius became highly sought after by the Dragonmarked Houses. Lazaapz's first invention was a functional mechanical arm to replace the one she was born without; now she leads an elite team of engineers in cutting-edge research and development.

    Following the discovery of a mysterious Eldritch Machine, Lazaapz was brought in by House Cannith to ascertain the purpose of the device. Shortly after, both Lazaapz and the machine disappeared, never to be seen again.

Abilities

Basic Attack

  • Stunning Gauntlet (melee) - Lazaapz attacks and stuns the nearest enemy. Every fifth attack, she uses her Grappling Fist to pull an enemy closer to her instead.

Formation Abilities

  • Fury of the Small - Lazaapz's posse is Champions that are from smaller species: dwarves, fairies, gnomes, goblins, halflings, kobolds, and/or plasmoids. Lazaapz increases the damage of her posse by 100% for each posse member in the formation, stacking multiplicatively.
  • Power Armor - Lazaapz has a set of Artificer Power Armor. She starts each area with 100 stacks of Power Armor. Damage taken by Lazaapz is decreased by a percentage equal to her current Power Armor stacks, but the armor consumes 1 stack of Power Armor each time she would take damage. Can not be decreased below 0.
  • Contingency Plan - When Lazaapz's Power Armor stacks reach 0, her armor sends out a massive shockwave, dealing 120 seconds of BUD damage to all enemies and pushing them back to the far side of the screen. Lazaapz then drops her shield and retreats to behind the formation, her armor shuts down, and she begins to repair it, taking 10 seconds for each time the armor has shut down in the current area (including this time). Upon finishing her work, she leaps back to her original location, knocking back any enemies that she encounters on her way, grabbing her shield, and refilling her Power Armor stacks to full.
  • Artificer Infusion - Lazaapz infuses the equipment of other Champions in the formation with her Artificer powers. Infused equipment has its item level increased by 125. The equipment slot that is affected is equal to each Champions' exact distance from Lazaapz, so for example adjacent Champions (1 slot away) have their slot 1 equipment infused, while Champions 2 slots away have their slot 2 equipment infused, and so on.
  • Shield of Sharn - Lazaapz increases the max health of all other Champions by 25% of her base max health and healing effects on all Champions are increased by 25%.

Specializations A

  • Fury of the Brawl - Lazaapz's posse now also includes Champions with a melee base attack and is buffed by 100% (post-stack).
  • Fury of the Cabal - Lazaapz's posse now also includes Evil Champions and is buffed by 150% (post-stack).
  • Fury of the Stall - Lazaapz's posse now also includes Champions with the Control role and is buffed by 150% (post-stack).

Specializations B

  • Guardian - Lazaapz gains the Debuff role and increases Power Armor's max stacks by 25. Lazaapz fires her gauntlet in a line each time she loses 25 Power Armor stacks. Enemies hit take 15 seconds of BUD damage, gain a debuff, and are knocked back. The debuff causes enemies to take 1000% extra damage from all sources, and stacks multiplicatively up to 5 times.
  • Infiltrator - The effect of Fury of the Small is increased by 5% for each missing stack of Power Armor, stacking multiplicatively, and when an enemy is defeated, Lazaapz regains one stack of Power Armor. She cannot exceed her maximum stacks this way.

Ultimate Ability

  • Flash of Genius (magic) - For a short duration, Lazaapz increases her equipment buff and deals ultimate damage with her attacks.

    Baldric left his position as a prominent member of his family’s mercantile empire to seek his fortunes elsewhere. He’s a unique cleric who often confounds other clerics because he refuses to pledge his service or faith to a single deity. He prefers to bargain with any and all of them, depending on the situation, to receive his magic. This has lent him a cocky confidence that has landed him in his share of trouble. But now he’s with the Fallbacks, and over the course of their adventures, his faith in them has become unshakable.
Baldric is a Support and Healing Champion who helps his affiliation members and those with high Charisma. He heals Champions in the columns in front of him, and his specialization choices grant him diverse abilities from assorted deities.

Basic Attack

Passive Abilities

  • Uggie! - Uggie joins the party, starting next to Baldric unless she's already in the formation next to another Fallbacks Champion. Uggie increases the damage of all non-adjacent Champions by 100%

Formation Abilities

  • Bargaining Power - Baldric's bargaining partners are Fallbacks Champions and/or Champions with Charisma of 15 or higher. Baldric increases the damage of his bargaining partners by 100% for each bargaining partner in the formation, stacking multiplicatively.
  • Undeniable Uggie - Uggie's buff is increased by 400% when Baldric is in the formation.
  • Healing Word - Baldric heals the Champions in all the columns in front of him for 20 health per second.
  • Shield of Filth - When Uggie is with Baldric, any Champion that is being targeted by Baldric's Healing Word can't take more than 33% of their max health in one hit.
  • Healing Lantern - When any Champion drops to or below 50% of their maximum health, Baldric lights his lantern for the rest of the current area, and all healing received by Champions in the formation is increased by 100% for each Healing Champion in the formation, stacking multiplicatively.

Specializations A

You will pick from this specialization choice set twice. When presented with the second set of specializations, the choice you made the first time is replaced with the associated Dark Bargain, which has a different effect based on the option it is replacing. There are effectively 15 different combinations of specialization choices you can choose. (Tyr + Moradin is the same as Moradin + Tyr)
  • Bargain With Tyr - Baldric increases the pre-stack bonus of Bargaining Power by 50%.
  • Bargain With Moradin - You may use any Dwarf Champion in the current adventure, even if the Patron, Variant, or other restrictions would say otherwise. Additionally, Dwarf Champions also count as Baldric's bargaining partners.
  • Bargain With Tymora - Baldric gains the Gold Find role and increases the party's gold find by 100% for each bargaining partner, stacking multiplicatively. Additionally, Champions with the Gold Find role also count as Baldric's bargaining partners.
  • Bargain With Mystra - Baldric's base attack also deals 5 seconds of BUD-based damage and counts as a magic attack. Additionally, Champions with a magic base attack also count as Baldric's bargaining partners.
  • Bargain With Eldath - Baldric increases the effect of Healing Word by 100%. Additionally, Champions with the Healing role also count as Baldric's bargaining partners.

Specializations B

These five options are the Dark Bargains that you are offered in the second round of specialization choices. You are only offered one of these, based on the specialization you chose in the first set. You can pick the Dark Bargain you are offered, or pick one of the four Bargain With... specs that you didn't pick in the first round.
  • Dark Bargain (When Tyr was chosen) - Baldric increases the pre-stack bonus of Bargaining Power by an additional 50%, but the effect of Healing Word is reduced by 99%.
  • Dark Bargain (When Moradin was chosen) - The damage of Dwarf Champions is increased by 100% for each Dwarf in the formation, stacking multiplicatively, but you may only have one of each non-Dwarf species in the formation.
  • Dark Bargain (When Tymora was chosen) - Bosses have a 10% chance to drop twice as many gems, but non-boss area quest requirements are increased by 100%.
  • Dark Bargain (When Mystra was chosen) - All Champions with magic base attacks deal an additional 5 seconds of BUD-based damage with each attack, but all Champions without a magic base attack no longer deal any damage with their base attacks.
  • Dark Bargain (When Eldath was chosen) - Champions are immune to damage for 15 seconds after the first instance of damage that they would take in every area (including that damage), but take 100% additional damage from all sources after that.

Ultimate Ability

  • Faith Aflame - Baldric's mace ignites with radiant light, preventing Champions from being stunned and empowering his attacks for the duration it is aflame

He gathers this gold to empower his own abilities (1 coin per enemy killed, 3 coins per boss enemy killed), and increases the effect of Unseen Encouragement and your party's gold find by 1% for each coin he has collected on the current adventure, stacking additively.
  • Shadow Demon - Unlocks K'thriss' ultimate ability. When K'thriss uses his ultimate ability he summons a Shadow Demon that hovers behind him for 30 seconds. For its duration, the Shadow Demon has various effects based on how many coins K'thriss has gathered since the last time the Shadow Demon was summoned:
    • Base effect: Unseen Encouragement +100%
    • 10+ coins: Base effect +400%
    • 50+ coins: All enemies slowed by 50%
    • 100+ coins: All Champions deal additional 3s of BUD damage
    • 250+ coins: Base effect & BUD damage +200%
    • 1000+ coins: Base effect & BUD damage +400%
  • Efficient Bookkeeping - K'thriss uses his creative accounting skills to skim a little bit off the gold you spend to level up Champions and uses it to empower his abilities. For each order of magnitude of gold spent leveling up other Champions, he increases the effect of Unseen Encouragement by 15%, stacking multiplicatively.

  • Velvet Touch - The effect of Unseen Encouragement is increased by 400% for each slot away from K'thriss an affected Champion is, stacking multiplicatively.
  • Ligotti's Minions - The effect of Unseen Encouragement and the gold find bonus of Hoardsperson are increased by 100% for each C-Team, Acquisitions Incorporated, or Wafflecrew Champion in the formation, stacking multiplicatively.
  • The Unknowable Ur - The effect of Unseen Encouragement is increased by 100,000%. This amount is reduced by 50% for each enemy defeated in the current area, applying multiplicatively for up to 10 enemies.

New Champion: Tess  
Posted in Idle Champions.

    Tess grew up in a small village where she wreaked havoc as an amateur thief (she stole to see if she could, not because she wanted to keep the items - mostly), before her parents sent her to be trained by an aging halfling rogue named Mel. Under Mel’s mentorship, Tess became a professional infiltrator, using her skills for good. Now she’s formed her own adventuring party and is actively molding them into the heroes she knows they can be.
Tess is a Support Champion who leads by example, buffing the damage of all Champions behind her. This expert in traps has a plan for everything, increasing your formation's damage if she is given companions with a diverse set of roles. Tess can always be found with the Fallbacks' Otyugh companion Uggie nearby.

Champion Update: Krond

    Krond was born of a union between an academic human wizard and a mighty orc fighter who led a nomadic orc community. Raised as a fearsome warrior and arcane scholar, he studied these arts with equal passion. Krond's parents tragically lost their lives protecting their family and friends during an enemy raid. This moment changed Krond, and he swore revenge upon the world. Taking up an ancestral warhammer called Unity, Krond set out to make things right, one way or another.
Krond has been reworked to become a true Support, greatly increasing his versatility, while still allowing him to be a DPS Champion.

  • War Magic - Krond's Cantrip Feats now deal damage equal to 5 seconds of BUD-based damage for each 100% of Krond's base damage that they normally deal.

    Hank is the steadfast and courageous leader of the group of friends that has been swept away into the perilous realm of Dungeons & Dragons. As the Ranger, he wields his signature Energy Bow to fend off danger and light the way forward. Though the weight of leadership tests him at every turn, Hank’s tactical insight and unwavering resolve keep the party moving forward in their quest to find a way back home.
Hank is a Support and Control Champion who leads a bunch of kids who have been swept away to the world of Dungeons & Dragons. Hank's stalwart encouragement buffs the damage of Champions next to him, and his unerring Energy Bow keeps the enemies away.

Abilities

Basic Attack

  • Energy Bow (ranged) - Hank attacks the closest enemy, dealing 1 hit. (They are also knocked back once the Energy Bow ability is unlocked.)

Formation Abilities

  • Stalwart Encouragement - Hank increases the damage of Champions adjacent to him by 100%.
  • Energy Bow - Enemies that Hank hits are knocked back. The distance they're knocked back increases the closer they are to the formation.
  • Time Gate Piece Scavenger - Hank can help scavenge up to 5 additional Time Gate Pieces when killing bosses. While this cap is not reached, Hank has a 1% chance of scavenging 1 Time Gate Piece each time a boss is defeated. The cap increases by 1/3 every day.
  • Every Little Bit Helps - Hank increases the effect of Stalwart Encouragement by 10% for each item that has ever been collected by Scavenger abilities, stacking additively.

Specializations A

  • Heart of Heroes - Hank increases the damage bonus of Stalwart Encouragement by 100% for each Champion in the formation with a total ability score of 78 or less, stacking multiplicatively.
  • Arrow Alliance - Hank increases the damage bonus of Stalwart Encouragement by 125% for each Champion in the formation with a Ranged attack, stacking multiplicatively.
  • Unyielding Unity - Hank increases the damage bonus of Stalwart Encouragement by 200% for each member of the Saturday Morning Squad in the formation, stacking multiplicatively. This also adds the Saturday Morning Squad affiliation to Dungeon Master.

Specializations B

  • Tactical Advantage - Whenever an enemy is knocked back, Hank gains a Tactics stack. For each Tactics stack, the Critical Hit Chance of all Champions in the formation is increased by 1%, and the Critical Hit Damage of all Champions in the formation is increased by 10%. Tactics stacks stack additively up to 50 times and reset when changing areas.
  • Dragon Slayer - Hank gains the Hunter role with Dragons as his Favored Foe. Non-boss waves spawn a Dragon 50% of the time. Stalwart Encouragement’s effect is increased by 100% for each Dragon defeated in the current area, stacking multiplicatively up to 10 times. In boss areas, non-boss waves always spawn a dragon, and defeated dragons provide 5 stacks.

Ultimate Ability

  • Arrows of Restraint (ranged) - Hank fires 5 arrows at random enemies, dealing 1 ultimate hit and stunning each of them.
