Alien Invasion Day 6 has arrived, bringing with it their Excellency, Qadir of House Tintahal. This year's event runs until Tuesday, July 6th at 12PM Pacific, introducing Qadir of House Tintahal and bringing back Queen Ysjorgnak, Xygallix, the Alien Mechanic, First Lady Betty Smithsonian, Red, the Ace Pilot, Slisiblyp, the Alien Scientist, Kizlblyp, the Alien Traitor, and President Billy Smithsonian!

New Tier 6 Crusader: Qadir of House Tintahal

A bright flash appears in the night sky, giving a purple glow to the surroundings. Those who are awake--and not plugged into their phones--note the curious phenomenon and wonder what they should do about it...and then they forget.

The next morning, the ruler of their country is on the official broadcast channel, introducing the ambassador Qadir of House Tintahal, from the planet Dellorarsvetu, here to observe their new galactic neighbours and get to know them a little bit. (And maybe scout out their treasures.) As the Crusaders are such an eclectic concave of bodies, Qadir elects to tag along on their adventures as well, looking for new energy to taste.

Qadir of House Tintahal is a Support Crusader. When you want to add them to your formation, you can find them in slot 36.

New Tier 6 Objectives

• Recruit Qadir | Qadir takes up a slot in the formation.President Billy Smithsonian and Kizlblyp, the Alien Traitor take up spots in formation and can't be moved. If a boss drops a chest, you lose DPS for 30 seconds. Note: This will require having cleared the objective To Infinity and Beyond on Ghostbeard's Greed to complete. Reach area 600.


• Alien Morse Code | Slisiblyp, the Alien Scientist and Red, the Ace Pilot take up spots in formation and can't be moved. Monsters live longer and can only be killed by CLK damage. Note: This will require having cleared the objective To Infinity and Beyond on Ghostbeard's Greed to complete. Reach area 650.


• Presidential Bid | First Lady Betty Smithsonian takes up a spot in formation and can't be moved. Only Female Crusaders can be used. Note: This will require having cleared the objective To Infinity and Beyond on Ghostbeard's Greed to complete. Reach area 675.


• Popular Mechanics | Xygallix takes up a spot in formation and can't be moved. The formation has been changed. Aside from Xygallix, only Robot Crusaders can be used. A UFB takes up a slot in the formation and increases your DPS for every 50 monsters killed. Note: This will require having cleared the objective Bullet Hell on Ready Player Two to complete. Reach area 700.


• Aliens Reboot | Queen Ysjorgnak takes up a spot in formation and can't be moved. Only Alien or Undead Crusaders can be used. Area quest requirements are tripled. Note: This will require having cleared the objective Bullet Hell on Ready Player Two to complete. Reach area 725.

Equipment for event Crusaders can be found in Alien Silver and Jeweled Chests, which you can earn from objectives and the free play or buy in the shop. Each non-recruitment objective will drop a chest for its given tier of Crusaders, and free play will drop All Tier chests. Gear for Tier 2, Tier 3, Tier 4, Tier 5, and Tier 6 Crusaders will only appear in All Tier chests once you've unlocked the respective Crusaders. You can select the tier of chest you buy in the shop when you go to purchase chests with real money or event currency.

New Tier 6 Crusader: Yaretzi

It was a dark and stormy night. (Someone coughs in the distance) Sorry, sorry, wrong story. Deep in the dark depths of the jungle, hundreds of miles from the nearest village or access to the wider world, there is a hidden temple. In this temple, there is a lake so deep that the water looks black, with a hint of silver when illuminated by a lantern.

Why is there a lantern in a hidden temple? For the resident, of course! Yaretzi guards the treasures of the lake: her fellow axolotls. She's doing her best to help them survive. Maybe by joining your band of Crusaders, she can spread the word even more.

Yaretzi is a DPS and Goldfind Crusader. When you want to add her to your formation, you can find her in slot 33.

New Tier 6 Objectives

• Recruit Yaretzi | Yaretzi takes up a slot in the formation. Montana James and Serpent King Draco take up spots in formation and can't be moved. Treasure Chest monsters are cursed. While they're alive, and for a short time after they're killed, your gold find is reduced to 0. Note: This will require having cleared the objective To Infinity and Beyond on Ghostbeard's Greed to complete. Reach area 600.


• Heeere's Danni | Danni the Daring Damsel and Polly the Parrot take up spots in formation and can't be moved. Aside from Danni, only Male Crusaders can be used. Note: This will require having cleared the objective To Infinity and Beyond on Ghostbeard's Greed to complete. Reach area 650.


• Holy Flames | The Holy Guardian takes up a spot in formation and can't be moved. Only Crusaders affected by Holy Guardian's Blaze of Glory ability can do DPS or provide formation abilities. Note: This will require having cleared the objective To Infinity and Beyond on Ghostbeard's Greed to complete. Reach area 675.


• How I Met Your Mummy | Kebos the Mummy takes up a spot in formation and can't be moved. The formation has been changed. Kebos is the only Crusader who does DPS. Note: This will require having cleared the objective Bullet Hell on Ready Player Two to complete. Reach area 700.


• Untitled 5th Movie | Ichtaca, the Keeper takes up a spot in formation and can't be moved. Viragallant, the Alluring takes up a slot in the formation.All Crusaders except Gold Finders can be used. Note: This will require having cleared the objective Bullet Hell on Ready Player Two to complete. Reach area 725.

We've changed up the following formation this season:


Fun and Games

Dungeon Points, Dungeon Coins and Idol Bonus limit Extended - The cap on the Dungeon rewards has been increased from area 15,000 to area 17,500.

Changes to the base Dungeon Points and Coins drops - We've adjusted the base points and coins that drop from completing areas on the dungeon objectives, in order to encourage choosing the points or coins buff if you want to stock up on your currencies.

Changes to the Dungeon Points and Coins Buffs - The buffs that increase the Points or Coins that you'll get from your current dungeon objective have been increased to 300%.

More Awesome Rewards! - Both the free and the Mysterious Benefactor's pass route have had their rewards tweaked again for season 4, including a new Crusader reward and more Rune-related items! See the "Introducing Torakichi, the Greedy Tengu" section for more information on the new Crusader!

Updated Dungeon FAQ - The Dungeon FAQ has been updated with questions and answers about how the Dungeon Crusaders and difficulty scaling work.

Difficulty Scaling - This season we're trying out the difficulty scaling mechanic, to test your levels of power but keep the time spent on a reset in a manageable range. See the "Dungeon Scaling" section for more information.

Season 3 Skins Now Available! - If you missed getting these skins during the previous season, you can now purchase them for Dungeon Coins!

Dungeon Scaling

In addition to the normal difficulty level of the Dungeons, which is the same as the difficulty of the World's Wake campaign, there are two additional difficulty levels for the Dungeon objectives this season.


Sample Start Objective Screen

You can see the new Difficulty Level section under the flavour text for the objective. When you've cleared area 10,000 on difficulty 1 and reset the world, then the objective will default to difficulty 2. Clearing area 10,000 on difficulty 2 will unlock difficulty 3. Don't worry: if it's too hard to make progress on a higher difficulty, you can toggle it back to a lower difficulty level.

By getting past area 10,000 on difficulty level 2, you'll start earning more rewards for your efforts. And if you get high enough you can earn up to 4% bonus idols. By getting past area 7,500 on difficulty level 3, your rewards will start going up, and you can earn up to 4.5% bonus idols if you have the power. The dungeon points and coins drops also increase up to area 17,500 on both higher difficulty levels.

Don't forget to check what difficulty you're using before you start the objective!

Introducing Torakichi, the Greedy Tengu

For reaching level 8 on the free rewards track this season, or from the Dungeon Depot in future seasons, you can welcome your new clever friend Torakichi, the Greedy Tengu. Blending tengu with a myna bird, Torakichi is the Mindy contender you've been waiting for, with his Serial Copycat ability allowing you to copy most abilities of Crusaders in two random formation spots. The chosen formation spots change on every reset of the world.

When you want to use him, you can find him in seat 4 on the bench.

Hover the Serial Copycat icon from Torakichi's bench information to see what spots in formation he's marked.


If Torakichi is in one of the randomly marked spots, then there will only be 1 green arrow leaving him.


Torakichi, The Greedy Tengu - Traditional Tengu skin

Effect: The Tradition effect removes the Animal tag and adds the Supernatural tag.

You can unlock Torakichi's skin from reaching level 18 on the rewards track and having the Mysterious Benefactor's pass purchased, or after season 4 is over by spending Dungeon Coins in the Dungeon Depot.

You can gear up Torakichi from earning the various rewards on the reward tracks, and from spending Dungeon Coins on his chests in the Dungeon Depot. Torakichi's recipes are also available from the rewards track or the Dungeon Depot as well.
