It's time for another Trek Through the Hidden Temple!

New Tier 6 Crusader: Yaretzi

It was a dark and stormy night. (Someone coughs in the distance) Sorry, sorry, wrong story. Deep in the dark depths of the jungle, hundreds of miles from the nearest village or access to the wider world, there is a hidden temple. In this temple, there is a lake so deep that the water looks black, with a hint of silver when illuminated by a lantern.

Why is there a lantern in a hidden temple? For the resident, of course! Yaretzi guards the treasures of the lake: her fellow axolotls. She's doing her best to help them survive. Maybe by joining your band of Crusaders, she can spread the word even more.

Yaretzi is a DPS and Goldfind Crusader. When you want to add her to your formation, you can find her in slot 33.

New Tier 6 Objectives

• Recruit Yaretzi | Yaretzi takes up a slot in the formation. Montana James and Serpent King Draco take up spots in formation and can't be moved. Treasure Chest monsters are cursed. While they're alive, and for a short time after they're killed, your gold find is reduced to 0. Note: This will require having cleared the objective To Infinity and Beyond on Ghostbeard's Greed to complete. Reach area 600.


• Heeere's Danni | Danni the Daring Damsel and Polly the Parrot take up spots in formation and can't be moved. Aside from Danni, only Male Crusaders can be used. Note: This will require having cleared the objective To Infinity and Beyond on Ghostbeard's Greed to complete. Reach area 650.


• Holy Flames | The Holy Guardian takes up a spot in formation and can't be moved. Only Crusaders affected by Holy Guardian's Blaze of Glory ability can do DPS or provide formation abilities. Note: This will require having cleared the objective To Infinity and Beyond on Ghostbeard's Greed to complete. Reach area 675.


• How I Met Your Mummy | Kebos the Mummy takes up a spot in formation and can't be moved. The formation has been changed. Kebos is the only Crusader who does DPS. Note: This will require having cleared the objective Bullet Hell on Ready Player Two to complete. Reach area 700.


• Untitled 5th Movie | Ichtaca, the Keeper takes up a spot in formation and can't be moved. Viragallant, the Alluring takes up a slot in the formation.All Crusaders except Gold Finders can be used. Note: This will require having cleared the objective Bullet Hell on Ready Player Two to complete. Reach area 725.

Each non-recruitment objective will drop a chest for its given tier of Crusaders, and free play will drop All Tier chests. Gear for Tier 2, Tier 3, Tier 4, Tier 5, and Tier 6 Crusaders will only appear in All Tier chests once you've unlocked the respective Crusaders. You can select the tier of chest you buy in the shop when you go to purchase chests with real money or event currency.

Guarding a tomb for all time might sound like an eternity of peace and quiet, but eventually some random Crusader will show up, interrupting your slumber.

On yet another daring excursion, Montana James finds himself face-to-face with a colossal stone behemoth carved in the shape of a Tyrannosaurus, with massive glowing crystals sprouting from it's back.

Luckily for Montana, Ichtaca, the Keeper has grown bored of their role of tomb guardian, and is eager to head out on an adventure.

It's time for another Trek Through the Hidden Temple! The Hidden Temple 5 runs until Tuesday, June 2nd at 12PM PDT, introducing Ichtaca, the Keeper and bringing back Kebos, The Mummy, The Holy Guardian, Polly the Parrot, Danni the Daring Damsel, Serpent King Draco, and Montana James!

New Tier 5 Crusader: Ichtaca, the Keeper

Ichtaca, the Keeper is a Crusader who specializes in boosting the potency of Orc, Supernatural, and Support-tagged Crusaders.

Mesozoic Born and Riddles and Keys boost Supernatural and Support Crusaders respectively. If your formation has any Orc Crusaders, Earthen Family will increase the DPS of Crusaders by 50% per each Orc tag in the formation.

Other upgrades include Good Stone (Increases the DPS of all Crusaders by 75%), Eternal Guardian (For every 25 levels over and including 200, DPS is multiplied by 4x), and Crystalline Veins (Increase all Gold found by 100%).

Ichtaca's final ability is Extinction Level Event, which buffs Mesozoic Born and Riddles and Keys by 100%.

New Tier 5 Objectives

• Recruit Ichtaca, the Keeper | Ichtaca, the Keeper takes up a slot in the formation. Spawn speed buffs and effects have no effect. Ichtaca, the Keeper steals 75% of your quest item drops. The Phase Skip talent doesn't apply.
  Reach area 400.


• Second Best | Only the second Crusader on each bench seat is available.
  Reach area 450.


• Cruise the Nile | Area quest requirements are increased by 10 fold. If you kill a monster that a Crusader has slowed, stunned or frozen, they drop 5 times as many quest items. Montana James starts in the formation and is the only Crusader who does DPS.
  Reach area 475.


• Sahara Bound | Try to stay hydrated! Each area starts with a supply of 15 water bottles. Additional water bottles will drop from killed monsters at random. 1 water bottle is consumed every 5 seconds for each Crusader in the formation. If you run out of water, the formation wipes and goes back an area. Covetous camelcorns attack the formation and cannot be killed.
  Reach area 500.


• Meteor Powered Portal | A goop monster takes up a spot in formation, moving every 100 areas. Crusaders adjacent to the goop have their formation abilities weakened. Additionally, every two minutes, a meteor hits your formation, removing a Crusader from formation and making them unusable for the next 15 minutes.
  Reach area 525.

In ages long past, Kebos was a Goddess. As the world changed and her era came to an end, she was wrapped in ceremonial linens and preserved through mummification. It is the greatest honor her people could bestow upon their goddess, hoping to bring her a peaceful rest for all time.

Unfortunately, nothing lasts forever — not even death.

Her tomb unearthed and her rest interrupted, Kebos, The Mummy has arisen to join the Crusaders for their latest journey to The Hidden Temple...

The Hidden Temple 4 introduces Kebos, The Mummy and brings back Montana James, Serpent King Draco, Danni the Daring Damsel, Polly the Parrot, and The Holy Guardian. The trek comes to a conclusion on Tuesday, July 23rd, 2019 at 12:00PM PDT!

New Tier 4 Crusader: Kebos, The Mummy

Kebos is an ancient goddess, preserved through mummification. Now known as Kebos, The Mummy, this undead goddess brings her supernatural power to the formation in the form of massive DPS buffs (Show Them Some Teeth, Defend the Innocent). She grows stronger with each DPS Crusader in the formation (This is a Knife!), growing stronger still as you level her up (Better with Age) and earn Trinkets (Lady of the Dead). She is also a righteous DPS Crusader, growing more powerful for each Good Crusader in the formation (The Power of Good).

When the dead start to rise, it usually means the end of days is nigh — but in this case, the Crusaders may have instead found one of their strongest allies...

Crusaders Return

If you haven't collected them already, you can unlock previous Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 Crusaders by completing their respective objectives. Montana James, Serpent King Draco, Danni the Daring Damsel, Polly the Parrot, and The Holy Guardian are all once again available to unlock!

New Tier 4 Objectives

• Recruit Kebos, the Mummy | Kebos, The Mummy takes up a slot in the formation. Only Undead and Good Crusaders can do DPS. Fossilized Crocodile monsters attack the formation; when killed, Kebos transforms another random Crusader into a crocodile, disabling their DPS and Formation Abilities. Reach area 600.


• Uncanny Valley | Only Supernatural and Alien Crusaders may be used in the new formation. Two Alien ships also patrol the formation, wreaking havoc. Reach area 700.


• Tomb of Kings | Only Royal and Healer Crusaders may be used. Reach area 750.


• Pilgrimage | Only Good, DPS, or Undead Crusaders may be used. Every so often an Altar Monster appears, taking all your gold on hand and reducing Gold Find to 0 while you pay your respects. Reach area 800.


• Secret Torch Society | Only Crusaders next to the Torchbearer do DPS. Another Torchbearer joins the formation every 150 areas. Reach area 850.

New Tier 3 Crusader: The Holy Guardian

Ancient knight? Fallen angel? Whatever he may be, all you know about The Holy Guardian is that Crusaders closest to him find themselves healed far greater than those further away — and Crusaders further away have their damaged increased far more than those closest to him.

Crusaders Return

If you haven't collected them already, you can unlock our Tier One Crusaders Montana James and Serpent King Draco by completing the respective Tier One objectives. Then, you can collect the Tier Two Crusaders, Danni the Daring Damsel and Polly the Parrot, by completing the first two Tier Two objectives!

Five New Tier 3 Objectives!

• Recruit The Holy Guardian | The Holy Guardian takes up a central spot in the formation and reduces the DPS of Crusaders who are adjacent to him by 100%. Reach area 500.


• Putting the "G" in Guardian | Only Crusaders with a "G" in their name are allowed in the formation. Reach area 600.


• The Crumbling Temple | A stone falls from above and kills a random Crusader every 15 seconds in non-boss areas. Every 100 areas, the stones fall 1 second sooner. Reach area 650.


• Temple of Inconvenience | Three mossy support pillars take up three slots in the formation. They move around every 50 areas. Reach area 700.


• The Last Crusade(rs) | Every 40 areas a Crusader seat is locked out. Seats are locked in order from 1-28. Reach area 750.
