Happy Birthday Nate!

It's that time of year again! Help celebrate Nate Dragon's birthday by decorating the Commons for him....because no one else will.

Safety First

First and foremost, whenever Nate is involved, safety becomes a priority. Find Safety Coins in the bushes and bring them to the stations in the Commons to stock up on protective gear. Turn in 10 coins at each station 50 times for an achievement. You can see the number of turn-ins you've completed at a station when you turn in a set of coins. The Kevlar Pad station is there on the first day of the event, and the Fire Extinguisher and Band Aid stations will unlock as the event goes on.

Party Preparation

Then it seems Nate needs decorations and activities to set up in the Commons. Go out daily and find things for his party. Have fun trying out the activity stations as many times as you want!

Dragon Costuming

If you're trying to get Tiny Little Arms or Just Like Nate achievements, or if you just want to have a little fun, you need to be wearing all pieces of the Dragon gear or the Nate outfit (available from the vendor's Bush Bucks store if it's your first time playing this event) while completing the 4 party Stations: Dynamite Activity, Campfire Activity, Digging Activity and the Training Whacking Activity.

If you've built the Town Hall, you can expect an fiery visitor to the party as well!

The Journey Continues

We've heard your banging on the door of the Prismatic Outpost and your yearning for power beyond level 460. In this update, we open the door to more of the Prismatic Passage!

Head to the Passage Outpost and enjoy a new whack of content! Three new zones await your well-honed bush whacking skills in this continuation of the Prismatic Passage.

Beyond the Outpost

Don your glimmering garments and step once again into a bedazzling underworld of glittering and gleaming flora and fauna. More mysterious inhabitants haphazardly bar your way as you pursue the Red Man deeper into the passage.

In this update, you can expect:

• 3 new bedazzling zones to complete!
• 20 more levels to attain! (new max is 480)
• More secrets to uncover!
• More trinkets to purchase, craft, and combine!
• 4 new crops to grow and research!

Prerequisites

If you've completed the Crystalline Cavity, you can now go back to the Prismatic Outpost zone to begin your journey.

Gotta find 'em all!

A new selection of critters are now available to be your companions!

Those weirdly random abandoned eggs scattered all over Bushwhackia have been switched up and all new pets are ready to hatch when you accept the "Find an Egg" quest from Misty. She will also have all the Generation 15 eggs available to purchase for Bush Bucks during the "Find an Egg" quest.

Other changes to Misty and Hank for Generation 15:

• Misty will no longer let players abandon Gen 13 pet eggs that they are hatching (they're now too rare). Only current generation pet eggs can be abandoned during hatching. Please note that if you're in the middle of hatching a pet, then that egg will still hatch into whatever pet it would have been before.


• Generation 14 pet eggs can now be found in Quester's Satchels (with the same limitations as the Generation 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, and 13 eggs, which will still be available in satchels as well.)


• Hank now sells a random assortment of hatched level 1 Generation 15 pets (instead of Generation 14) for Bush Bucks in his pet store.

PAGAS changes for Generation 15:

• Generation 15 pet eggs are available to buy with DNA in the PAGAS store, once you have hatched at least five Generation 15 pets. This include 10 unique variations of the new pets.


• The Pet Progress dialog now includes Generation 15 pets. Another 20 new pets that all players can unlock!

Happy 10th Anniversary Bushwhackia!

This event starts at noon on Friday April 15th!

Your friends in the Commons event area are up to something--and they need your help!

Be warned, this post contains SPOILERS for the event! You may want to play the first couple days of the event before reading these details!

Developer Turn-in Stations

The developers of Bush Whacker 2 are running the turn-in stations. Over the course of the event, you can find Typo Reports, Bug Reports and Suggestions in the bushes to turn in for event progress. Can you flood the poor developers with enough to earn the 100% reward?

Quests

Four daily quests will help you gain progress as well, starting with the quest for Gnome parts. The developer gnome quest has been updated with 5 more gnomes. Each completion will award you a random developer gnome and there are now 32 of us to collect. Note, if you have less than 27 gnomes, you'll get 2 gnomes per turn in until you catch up.

Later on, there will be a daily quest to test your Bush Whacker knowledge with trivia questions, featuring 6 new questions! Plus the return of Linus (from Halloween) who will have a sweet reward and of course, 10 years of whacking bushes has taken its tole, so it's best if you help to replant.

Familiar friends, like Nate and Kaine, will also have quests as the event goes one.

Costume Contest

Do you have a favourite outfit from among the all the Custom Items over the years? Well, you can now show them off! Once you build the Costume Contest area, you can enter your favourite outfit and vote. New winners will be chosen daily, and will get a small treat. New this year, you can ask Alexis what your current bracket is if you're participating in the day's contest. Brackets are top 5, 10, 25, 50, 100, 250, 500, 500+.

The Cake Isn't a Lie!

And what is an anniversary without cake? Not a very good one! A souvenir cake will appear on Monday April 18 at Noon PDT and be available to interact with until Friday April 22nd at Noon PDT.

Frequently Asked Questions

• Which developer gnomes are available?
  There are now THIRTY TWO developer gnomes available. You can collect one at random each time you do the Gnome Parts daily quest. Note, if this is your first time doing the event, you'll get 2 gnomes per turn in.


• Why do I want to help Linus daily?
  The more times you help him, the better your reward at the end of the event. His quest can be reset with the VIP power to reset daily quests.


• Will this event repeat next year?
  Good question! We'll tell you next year!


• How does the Costume contest work?
  You can enter the contest once per day. Once you've entered you cannot change your entry, so choose wisely. Throughout the day players can vote on other entries much like the screenshot contests from Halloween and the Spring Garden events. At midnight, the top 5 rated entries win, and a new contest begins! Winners get a unique title and an energy pack, but cannot enter the contest again for 3 days.


• What adds to my event progress?
  Doing turn-ins at the 3 stations and completing quests for the NPCs in the area.


• How can I find the turn-in station items?
  Just keep whacking bushes and critters. The Holiday Item Runes and Pets will help attract them as well or you can use a VIP Voucher or Token on the Event Drops boon.


• Do I have to ask my friends to help with the turn-in stations?
  No, you don't have to. They just allow you to gain event progress faster.


• When will the last quest unlock?
  The last event quest will unlock on April 24th.


• Do I have to do the achievements?
  No. Completing the goals for the achievements is totally optional. You get either a large energy pack or a title for your character from them, no event progress.


• Where can I see all the achievements available and how to get them?
  Either on the holiday dialog, the achievements dialog, or on the blog.

With the 10th anniversary event on the way, we've shrunk down the Easter event into a bite-sized version!

Find Mini Eggs in the bushes and turn them in at the event area for progress and tokens to spend on some simple items at the mini event store. With enough progress, you'll earn the Mini Easter Ribbon, which permanently increases your maximum energy by 10! There are also 3 achievements to claim!

And keep your eyes peeled for eggs riddled about Bushwhackia in this year's World Wide Egg Hunt! Most eggs have been shuffled around, so work together to find them all!

And while you're at it, help out a Carrot-topped fellow in the event area with a Deviled Egg problem. After you complete his quest, you'll be able to purchase one of 4 Evil Eggs from the event store!

Happy Easter Bushwhackers!

The Easter Bunny is back in town to bring the friendly competition of his egg hunt! That's what Easter is all about, right? The yummy chocolate eggs!

Every 8 hours, you can compete against 4 residents of the Commons in the Easter Egg Hunt! Plus, after your first Hunt of the day, you can hide eggs to set-up for the next hunt and whack monsters to keep the fields safe for the children!

Having trouble winning? Why not use some bonuses, available from the shady character in the wizard hat in the Event Area. Boosts are available for purchase for Easter Tokens after you complete your first Egg Hunt of the event.

Help make the eggs with the three turn-in stations! With all the Unpainted Eggs, Dye and Wax, we can make some pretty egg designs!

Chef Elza will have her bevy of recipes for you to help her prepare to have an awesome Easter feast!

Speaking of Easter feasts, lambs are so very cute, aren’t they? Help Lambchop save her fellow fluffy lambs from ending up on Easter feast tables.

Grab Jelly Beans and Peeps every 20 hours for extra Easter progress and tokens! Plus, each of the turn-in station owners will have a bonus quest for you to complete, and you'll get to help the poor confused soul deal with Easter moving around.

You can help one character make a Chocolate Easter Egg, because who doesn't need more sugar? And you'll be able to make a custom hat! This year, you'll be able to get the hats for both genders for completing the quest for Hyatt the Hat Maker!

Finally, don't forget to help a bilby evict some invasive bunnies... a lot of them. It starts at noon on Saturday, Pacific Time, to give you time to finish it.

Click on all the crates, barrels, rocks and bushes trying to find as many eggs as you can. There are only 20 eggs hidden in all the doodads.

How do I get a perfect score in the Easter Egg Hunt?
You need to collect all 20 eggs - basically not letting any of the other hunters find any.

I’m too slow at the Hunt. How can I be better?
The NPC with the wizard hat in the event area of the Commons sells boosts for Easter Tokens. Speed up your character and distract the other hunters with his wares. Also, travel in a circle, starting in the area closest to where everyone else is being distracted. And don't click on the searchable items themselves, click beside them. Clicking on the item causes you to walk slower.

When will the last quest unlock?
All quests will be unlocked by the 10th day of the event.

What contributes to my 100% progress?
Turning in the Unpainted Eggs, the Dye and the Wax as well as completing the Easter Egg Hunt and the quests for the folks in the event area.

Why do I want to ask friends for help?
It increases the amount of progress you get from doing a turn-in.

Do I have to do the achievements?
No. Completing the goals for the achievements is totally optional. You get either a large energy pack or a title for your character from them, no event progress.

Where can I see the achievements available and how to get them?
Either on the holiday dialog, the achievements dialog, or on the blog.

When can I do the World Wide Easter Egg Hunt?
The World Wide Easter Egg Hunt starts on Good Friday - April 16th - and lasts for the rest of the event.

Where do I find World Wide Easter Egg Hunt Eggs?
Once the hunt has started, you can find eggs by clicking them in many of the zones in the world. Eggs are hidden behind rocks and trees and in tricky to access locations in normal zones, secret areas, and adventure zones all over the world. Not every area has an egg hidden in it. There are 90 eggs hidden throughout the world in total, but you'll need to be done most of the content in the game to find them all.

It’s that time of year again! Help celebrate Nate Dragon’s birthday by decorating the Commons for him....because no one else will.

First and foremost, whenever Nate is involved, safety becomes a priority. Find Safety Coins in the bushes and bring them to the stations in the Commons to stock up on protective gear. Turn in 10 coins at each station 50 times for an achievement. You can see the number of turn-ins you've completed at a station when you turn in a set of coins. The Kevlar Pad station is there on the first day of the event, and the Fire Extinguisher and Band Aid stations will unlock as the event goes on.

Then it seems Nate needs decorations and activities to set up in the Commons. Go out daily and find things for his party. Have fun trying out the activity stations as many times as you want!

If you're trying to get Tiny Little Arms or Just Like Nate achievements, or if you just want to have a little fun, you need to be wearing all pieces of the Dragon gear or the Nate outfit (available from the vendor's Bush Bucks store if it's your first time playing this event) while completing the 4 party Stations: Dynamite Activity, Campfire Activity, Digging Activity and the Training Whacking Activity.

If you've built the Town Hall, you can expect an fiery visitor to the party as well!
