A Mysterious Summons and
Building Trust, each with one challenging variant. The City of Splendor awaits!
Note: you will need to complete at least 15 adventures in other campaigns in order to unlock the Waterdeep: Dragon Heist campaign.
A Mysterious Summons
The Blackstaff of Waterdeep, Vajra Safahr, has tasked Force Grey – and, by extension, the party – with patrolling the Dock Ward of Waterdeep.
- Variant: Street War — When the party kills Zhentarim mercenaries, Xanathar mercenaries get stronger while Zhentarim become weaker, and vice-versa.
Building Trust
While being introduced to Laeral Silverhand, the Open Lord of Waterdeep, the dinner party is crashed by Zhentarim mercenaries.
- Variant: Wisdom Check — Champion damage is increased or decreased based on their Wisdom. Scores of 10 or higher see a damage increase in damage while scores below 10 see a decrease in damage.
