Unearthing Fossils

A deposit of dinosaur fossils has been found in Bushwhackia! A dig team has set up in the Commons and will fly you to the dig site by helicopter.

Teach Me How To Diggy

Complete Anning's introductory quests. These will teach you the basics of digging up fossils in the Dino Dig!

The Dino Dig includes a special dig site where you unearth the fossils via a unique hot-and-cold style mini game!

Upgrade to Dig Deeper

Anning has an array of upgrades in her "Ye Excavaction Emporium"! Invest in these to making digging easier and speed up your fossil excavation!

Get a Clue

Whack up Fossil Clues from bushes all over then use them at the dig site to find Fossils! Turn in your Fossils for unique rewards available during this event only!

Digging the Threads

There are 3 ranch items and 3 costume items to buy in "Ye Dino Dig Depositorum". Plus, clear out their stock of Dig Satchels, containing DNA, Pet Treats, and Mount Bucks!

And if you're able to turn in enough fossils, you'll earn an energy increasing Dino Dig Ribbon!

Community Collection

Work together with your fellow Bush Whackers to turn in enough fossils to earn the special community reward!

If you all manage to achieve the target fossil value by noon on July 5th, everyone will get 1 Unique DNA and a Dino Haunch, which restores 100% max energy!

Dino Mount

Stalk the jungle on a new Utahraptor mount! Get it with select purchases of Bush Bucks during the start of the mini event!

Cretaceous Companions

Add any of three new dino companion to your collection! They are the Stegosaurus, Pachycephalosaurus, and Liopleurodon! Each available in its own Pet Pack bundle later on in the event.

Dino Dig Mini Event (June 29th, 2022)

- Whack Fossil Clues from bushes
- Spend clues in quarry mini-game to find Fossils

Creature Collector - Bee Mounts! (July 24th, 2022)

- Rerunning Coppers of the Creature Collector mini event with 3 new mounts and custom items

- Added the following mounts as options in the “Ye Olde Creature Collector's Galleria” store: Circus Zebra, Neon Zebra, Metal Zebra, , Freybug, Feith Freybug, Ammil Freybug, Draft Horse, Drudgery Draft Horse, Equinox Draft Horse, Nightmare Unisus, Scarlet Cu Sidhe, Opaline Cu Sidhe, Cinder Cu Sidhe, T-Rex Fossil, Kerberos, Hound of Hades, Heracles Hound, Winged Tiger, Waning Winged Tiger, Rising Winged Tiger, Extra Life Chariot, Polar Moose, Guardian Elk, Rime Elk, and Eclipse Elk

- Fixed the type of tier II spring seeds you picked in previous seeds being available the following year

- Any flux chests unable to be clicked are now fixed when you enter that flux and then leave and return, instead of having to talk to the Glitch there

- Fixed various reported typos and quest descriptions

Coppers of the Creature Collector

The eccentric Creature Collector has returned to the Commons, this time with a trio of bee mounts!



Head to the event area and choose one to train. You have until noon on Wednesday June 29th to complete the collector's four daily quests, level up your chosen creature, earn Creature Coppers to spend in their store, and get another page to your Creature Collector's Compendium!

The Compendium Page will be given after the event ends. If you don't have the Creature Collector's Compendium ranch item, you'll get it when you get your first page.

After the event, the collector will be taking their creature back unless you adopt it by purchasing its corresponding mount pack, available starting Monday June 27th.

Train hard, Bush Whackers!

The training quests unlock at noon on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. Those busy on the weekends can still catch up!

Notes
- The VIP "Quest Reset" power does not reset these mini event quests, and they are not affected by the Time Turner and Timey Whimey Watch.
- Swapping your event mount with a higher level mount doesn't count towards event progress.
- These three mounts earn double the experience compared to other mounts for the duration of this mini-event!
- Expiring mounts cannot have their bonuses swapped.

Ye Olde Creature Collector's Galleria - Mounts

When you speak to Tanela Tiva in the event area, you can select the "What past mounts are for sale?" chat option.

This will open a new store, which will contain 3 non-event premium mounts you have never owned! They cost Bush Bucks, like in event stores. The selection will change next time Tanela Tiva visits to event area.

We've done this in response to players asking to see old premium mounts they've missed out on, to help you fill out your pet collection. Snag those old-school mounts you're missing out on!

Summer Sports Event (June 10th, 2022)

By Bush Whackers, For Butterflies

The butterflies are out there somewhere, and this weekend's visitor is looking to attract them to the event area! This is their third visit, so complete there tasks and get another of their 5 butterfly companions!

Head to the event area in the Commons to get started. Attract different species to the event area in two ways:
1 - Help Harrow in the event area with her quests, unlocking at noon on Saturday and Sunday. There are 2 species to unlock this way.
2 - Collect Rare Flowers! You can do this after completing Harrow's first quest, available on Friday. There are 3 species to unlock this way, which will be much more challenging to get!

At the end of this colourful quest, you'll get to choose a butterfly companion from the different species you attract.

You have until noon on Monday June 7th to attract as many as you can, and you'll have until noon on Tuesday June 8th to choose one as a companion. Good luck!

Fill the Vastness of Space

While you're there, don't forget to check out the new Space Whale pet! The more there are, the higher the max level bonus is for everyone who has one! It's only available until Monday June 7th, so grab one and help everyone get the most powerful pet while you can! Talk to the spacy human in the event area for updates on the bonus.

Patriot Event (June 26th, 2020)

- Made the repeat rewards for the sesquicentennial quest line (which you find in the canoe) better.

Desktop Launcher Improvements/Fixes (June 12th, 2020)

- Desktop Launcher fixes that require update to v1.1:

- Fixed overhead icons not showing properly
- Fixed bushes playing their spawn animation twice when you enter a field
- Fixed toggling chat sidebar while in fullscreen mode taking you out of fullscreen mode
- Added buttons to take you to the Forums and your CNE Games profile page into a new CNE buttons pop out menu when you click the exclamation mark button in the Options (Gear) menu. The support button has been moved here as well.

- Desktop Launcher fixes and improvements (no update required):

- Decreased the height of the names section of the chat sidebar and increased the height of the chat history section.
- Increased height of the text box in the chat sidebar to two lines.
- Increased the max number of chat lines in the chat history section from 50 to 100.
- Bolded all text in the chat sidebar for readability.

- Fixed Misty not showing the “I have a current gen pet” chat option if you only had the Rainbow Flying Fish egg.

- Fixed the Green Circle Rug ranch item having collision.

- Can now place items on top of the Arthur Table ranch item.
